Environmental Health and Toxicology (EHT) is an open access, peer-reviewed, online journal that receives manuscripts on the fields of research, policy, and teaching of environmental health and toxicology.
The journal is published online and includes original articles, reviews, meeting reports, brief reports, case reports, investigation reports, special topics, editorials, and letters.
EHT is formerly known as Korean Journal of Environmental Toxicology and has a 25 year history of publication in the field of environmental toxicology in Eastern Asia with peer review process. With enforcement of the field of health, it was reborn as EHT since early 2010.
EHT considers manuscripts that have not been published previously (except as an abstract), and are not being considered for publication elsewhere. A paper presented at a scientific meeting may be considered if it has not been published in full in a proceedings or similar publication. Any closely related manuscript either published, in press, or under review must be sent via e-mail to the journal office at the time of the submission to EHT. This will allow for a full and fair evaluation of the independent contribution of the submitted paper. Editorial board can request for a review article according to its decision.
This journal was supported by the Korean Federation of Science and Technology Societies (KOFST) Grant funded by the Korean Government.
EHT has multidisciplinary areas including the categories of Ecotoxciology, Human toxicology, Risk assessment, Environmental exposure assessment, Environmental epidemiology, Environmental Chemistry, and Biostatistics.
Environmental Health and Toxicology is indexed/tracked/covered by PubMed, PubMed Central, Scopus, ScienceCentral, KoreaMed, KoMCI, Directory of Open Access Journals, and Google Scholar.
